1. Service Description

Your Memory Vault provides a photo and video sharing platform that allows users to:

• Create password-protected "vaults" for events
• Share unique links and QR codes with guests
• Collect photos and videos from multiple contributors
• Manage, organize, and download collected media

2. Account Registration

2.1 Account Creation

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others
• Create accounts using automated means
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the service for any illegal purposes

3. Vault Packages and Credits

3.1 Vault Credits

Users purchase "vault credits" which allow them to create vaults. Each vault created uses one credit. Credits are:

• Non-refundable once purchased
• Valid indefinitely (no expiration)
• Non-transferable between accounts

3.2 Vault Limitations

Once a vault is created and configured:

• The event details cannot be changed
• The vault is locked to that specific event
• Contact support if you need to make changes

4. Content and Media

4.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us:

• A license to store, display, and process your media
• Permission to create thumbnails and compressed versions
• The right to backup and maintain your content

4.2 Guest Uploads

As a vault owner, you are responsible for:

• Obtaining necessary permissions from guests who upload
• Ensuring uploaded content is appropriate and legal
• Managing and moderating content in your vaults

4.3 Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Is pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit
• Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
• Violates the privacy of others

5. Storage and Data

5.1 Storage Limits

Each vault has:

• Unlimited photo and video uploads
• 50MB maximum per file
• Fair usage policy applies

5.2 Data Retention

We retain your data:

• Indefinitely while your account is active
• For 90 days after account deletion
• Unless you request immediate deletion

5.3 Backups

While we maintain backups, you should:

• Keep your own copies of important media
• Download your vaults regularly
• Not rely solely on our service for storage

6. Privacy and Passwords

6.1 Vault Privacy

Vault owners can:

• Set passwords to protect vaults
• Choose between shared or private gallery modes
• Control who has access to their vault links

6.2 Guest Privacy

In private mode:

• Guests only see their own uploads
• The vault owner can see all uploads
• Other guests cannot see each other's photos

7. Payments and Refunds

7.1 Pricing

Current pricing:

• 1 Vault: £19.99
• 3 Vaults: £39.99 (save £19.98)
• 5 Vaults: £59.99 (save £39.96)

Prices subject to change with notice.

7.2 Refund Policy

Refunds are available:

• Within 14 days of purchase for unused credits
• If technical issues prevent service use
• At our discretion for exceptional circumstances

Refunds are not available for:

• Credits that have been used to create vaults
• Services already provided
• Change of mind after vault creation

8. Service Availability

8.1 Uptime

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted service access
• Error-free operation
• Specific response times

8.2 Maintenance

We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with notice
• Conduct emergency maintenance without notice
• Temporarily suspend service for security reasons

9. Termination

9.1 Your Rights

You may:

• Cancel your account at any time
• Download all your data before cancellation
• Request data deletion upon cancellation

9.2 Our Rights

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Use the service fraudulently
• Upload prohibited content
• Abuse or harm the service
• Fail to pay for services

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Our IP

Your Memory Vault, our logo, and our platform are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not:

• Copy or reproduce our platform
• Use our branding without permission
• Reverse engineer our software

You retain all rights to content you upload. We do not claim ownership of your photos or videos.

11. Liability and Disclaimers

11.1 Service "As Is"

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11.2 Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Loss of data or content
• Service interruptions
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Third-party actions or content

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the last 12 months.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Content you upload
• Your violation of these Terms

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will:
